The Story Behind On The Go Drip: Turning Chaos Into Compassionate Care
Interviewer: Can you introduce yourself and tell us what On The Go Drip is?
On the Go Drip: I’m Dr. Judith Abbey, owner of On The Go Drip. We’re a concierge mobile IV therapy and medical wellness service. Our team administers IV hydration, vitamin and nutritional therapies, and other treatments to support overall wellness—right in the comfort of our clients’ homes.
Interviewer: Who are the clients you serve most often?
On the Go Drip: We serve a wide range. Busy professionals who don’t have downtime, athletes who need quick recovery, and even pregnant women dealing with nausea. In the IV space, we see clients for things like dehydration, migraines, or hangover relief. In the wellness space, we provide advanced therapies like NAD and iron infusions. It’s not just about hydration—it’s about personalized care for very different needs.
Interviewer: What makes On The Go Drip different from other IV therapy providers?
On the Go Drip: Honestly, it’s the relationships. Our clients always say how much they appreciate the attention and genuine care we give. We never want the service to feel transactional. Many visits turn into conversations—sometimes even therapy sessions. It’s not just about the drip bag; it’s about making people feel seen, supported, and truly cared for.
Interviewer: How did your personal journey lead to starting this business?
On the Go Drip: The turning point came during COVID. I was in the ER every day, facing patient loss, chaos, and burnout. I didn’t feel fulfilled, and I prayed for direction. That’s when I realized: many conditions we treated in the ER could be managed safely at home—and most patients didn’t want to be in the ER anyway.
So I thought, what if we brought care directly to people in their own environment? That’s how On The Go Drip was born—out of a desire to provide compassionate care where patients feel safe, comfortable, and truly in control of their wellness.
Interviewer: What conditions surprised you as being treatable outside the ER?
On the Go Drip: Migraines, for one. In the ER, we’d see the same patients coming back again and again. They could have been treated at home. Stomach flu is another—no one wants to sit in a waiting room when they’re that sick. These conditions can be managed safely, comfortably, and much more efficiently in a client’s own space.
